Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using ConsoleRoam ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
License
JBG Botology grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ConsoleRoam for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
What ConsoleRoam Does
ConsoleRoam is a utility application that helps you switch PlayStation Remote Play between different Android TVs on your local network. The App:
- Discovers Android TVs on your network
- Sends commands to wake TVs and launch PS Remote Play
- Monitors network latency for connection quality
- Does not modify, hack, or circumvent any PlayStation or TV systems
Requirements
To use ConsoleRoam, you must:
- Own a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 console
- Have Android TV(s) with PS Remote Play installed
- Have all devices on the same WiFi network
- Enable ADB over network on your Android TVs
- Have a valid PlayStation Network account
- Comply with PlayStation's Terms of Service and Remote Play requirements
In-App Purchases
ConsoleRoam offers a Pro upgrade as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase:
- Free Tier: Supports up to 2 rooms
- Pro Tier ($2.99): Unlocks unlimited rooms
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store and subject to their refund policies. Purchases are permanent and tied to your Apple ID or Google account.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to access devices you do not own or have permission to control
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices in the App
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JBG BOTOLOGY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We are not responsible for any damage to your devices, network, or PlayStation console resulting from use of the App.
Third-Party Services
ConsoleRoam interacts with third-party services including PlayStation Remote Play, Android TV, and platform stores (App Store/Play Store). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any third-party service changes, interruptions, or terminations.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
